Back up to Cedar Point

I've been really slack! Call it the start of the school year, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, what have you! But I've taken pretty much no pictures lately! Even the one's I've taken from this summer haven't made their way to the blog. Some of this blame is that the pictures were taken off my work PC and put on my home PC. I don't spend as much time on the home computer!

Ok, enough excuses.. going back in time a bit here and going to load up a few blogs on Cedar Point! Yes, Cedar Point! We love Cedar Point! We've been up there twice now and have loved each trip. Takes about 8 hours from Charlotte to get there. Right on Lake Erie, I believe! Don't have the map of the Lakes in front of me :)

The park has a great mix of kid rides, medium kid rides and great big kid rides! We stopped at CP on the way home from our Chicago trip. Spent 3-4 days there in Sandusky Ohio and then traveled on home! It was a great end to a great summer trip to the Midwest!

Jacob & Dad riding the cars. We were in a part of the park that Jacob couldn't ride much of anything (wasn't 48 inches tall). He enjoyed the cars though!


Casey loved this swing ride. It's called Sky Hawk and swings to a height of 125 feet in the air (60 mph). She loved it so much, she rode it again with Kateland.
