Not too far from Charlotte, in Marion, NC, a campground called Jellystone Park is waiting for you! Yep, you bet your recognize that name. It's Yogi Bear's campground! :)
The folks that run the campground were spectacular. Lots of children's games were planned! This past weekend was Fall Festival weekend. Festivities included a scarecrow contest, pumpkin bowling (yes, our favorite, and Jacob won :)), Scavenger Hunts and Candy Bingo, just to name a few. The kids loved everything about the weekend. They fished but didn't catch anything, but that didn't damper the mood one bit!
We capped off each night with smores over the camp fire!! What a great weekend!!
If you're interested in camping: they have several cabins as well as RV sites and of course, tent sites for those of you who truly dig the word camping!!
