Polynesian Luau...

We went to the Luau at the Polynesian for our last night at the resort. The food was awesome and the entertainment was most entertaining! Lots of dancing and even some fire was thrown into the mix. We didn't have front row seats so most of my pics have heads in the bottom of the picture. (Much to my displeasure). But most of the pictures were still acceptable.

Casey was able to go up front to learn a birthday dance (because she had a recent birthday) :)

Crazy dude making a crazy face!! Pretty crazy indeed.

You would think I'm posting this picture because I liked the dresses! Yes, I do like the dresses.. the furry balls with tassels were on ropes and the ladies removed them and twirled them as part of the luau dance. But the main reason this picture makes the blog.. check out the 'lady' second from left... you vote, man or woman?

Have to include a pic or two of the flame thrower. This guy was quite amazing.

Here, the baton is being held between the back of his thigh and his calf.. calling for applause (of which he received)....

End of his performance, accepting more applause...

Fun with the leis while waiting for dinner...

Jacob asked to me to take his picture on the walk back to our room (like he REALLY had to ask). But it's nice to be asked as opposed to always asking!!!

And finally, what do you do with all those leis?

You make an Alena bird!!!!
